(Bon Marche).
Plan of Paris on the Ribbon System: Souvenir of the Grand Warehouse of the Bon Marche.
Publisher: No place (Paris): Bon Marche, No date, ca. 1885. No edition indicated Thin hardback 12 mo, about 6.5 inches tall, in red clothe stamped in gilt and black. 48 pages plus folding map of Paris, the map is approximately 21 by 28 inches. The map is in fine condition, perhaps a bit toned, but no tears or chips. A red ribbon with grid numbers still attached and complete, if a bit creased. The text is in English, and is made for Americans with U.S. Customs information. Plenty of information on the department store illustrated with period engravings. The title page is missing a piece at upper corner, a triangle about 1.5 inches per side leaving only a piece of the "P" in Paris. The covers have some edgewear with a tiny piece missing at upper front corner and surface chipped away at upper rear corner. Otherwise a bright, clean, very well-preserved copy. (Chase, John).
The Military Occupation of the Coal Strike Zone of Colorado by the Colorado National Guard, 1913-1914.
Publisher: Denver: [State of Colorado], No date [ 1914]. First Edition Squarish octavo in imprinted gray wraps. 119 pages. This is the official report of the head of the Colorado National Guard detailing the Guard's activities regarding the miners' strike against the southern Colorado Coal Mines. Wynar, 5375. This report was submitted to a Congressional Committee on April 6, 1914, that is, two weeks prior to the event known as the Ludlow Massacre. Nevertheless, the events leading up to that confrontation are of significant interest. The original wraps are very nice with just a tiny chip at the upper left front cover; the corners have minor creases and there is an insignificant tiny abrasion on the upper spine. Inside, the title page is toned irregularly around the edges, apparently because of something that may have laid in that protected the middle of the page from the depredations of the acid in the cover. Otherwise, clean, bright and sound. Softcover Softcover Very Good+

City and County of Denver Colorado: Building Zone Ordinance and Zone Map and Amendment to the City Charter Adopted May 15, 1923.
Publisher: [Denver]: City and County of Denver, 1923. Revised edition, 1933 Softcover octavo in green wraps. 23 pages plus 12 page index. Structurally well preserved in that it is fully intact. However there is modest toning to the text which also has occasional red check marks in the margins; water staining throughout from the foredge to about half way in. Bottom corners are turned and dog-eared. The main feature of this document is the map at rear which is in wonderful condition: unstained, untorn, unmarked. Perhaps misfolded slightly, but the map, which is about 33 inches square, is wonderful. Softcover Softcover Good
