A period black dialect story about a "little darky" and his family. Set in South Florida. Covers with modest extremity wear and foxing; edge toning. Previous owner gift note on the front endpaper; endpapers irregularly toned; mild toning to the gutters. The inside is otherwise clean and soundly bound. The jacket covers are mostly present and attractively illustrated. However significant material is missing at the spine and adjacent areas at the bottom. Flap folds are pretty much gone with the flaps detached. Covers moderately darkened. Hardcover Hardcover Good in a Poor Dustjacket
